Flap Discs
Twister Flap Discs are used for grinding, dressing, deburring, polishing and blending of all kinds of surfaces and welds.
Santek flap Discs are made in a range of different constructions, offering a choice in flexibility, aggression, hardness and cutting action.
STD: Industry standard quantity of flaps and flap length.
XXL: Increased quantity of flaps per disc. Resulting in a thicker disc and longer life.
Flat Type 27: Flat abrasive surface. Good flat grinding control,
Dish Type 29: Angled abrasive surface. Aggressive action and comfortable approach.
Safety
Flap Discs perform best between 50-80m/s, this giving the optimum balance between stock removal, surface finish, cutting temperature and life.
- NB! Excess speed is dangerous and may result in the disc disintegration, flaps pulling out, grain shedding and overheating.
- NEVER USE FLAP DISCS AT SPEEDS IN EXCESS OF 80m/s.
- Do not use wet or in any coolant or oil.
- Use in accordance with ANSI B7.1.
