Cartridge Rolls
Santek Cartridge Rolls are used for grinding, dressing, deburring, polishing and blending of all kinds of irregular surfaces or in confined spaces.
Cartridge rolls are made from multiple layers of abrasive cloth, self renewing its cutting edge.
Santek have two main Types of coated abrasive cartridge rolls made from high quality resin over resin abrasive cloth.
Safety
Cartridge rolls perform best between 8-11m/s, this giving the optimum balance between stock removal, surface finish, cutting temperature and wheel life.
NB! Excess speed is dangerous and may result in roll disintegration, grain shedding and overheating.
- NEVER USE CARTRIDGE ROLLS AT SPEEDS IN EXCESS OF 12m/s.
- Do not use wet or in any coolant or oil. Cartridge rolls are direction sensitive.
- Use in accordance to ANSI B7.1.
